Baby T drops ambitious 17-track old school album Prodigal Son

Reminding the world of his undeniable lyrical venom that will bite through the speakers like a ravenous warrior, Prodigal Son from Maverick “Baby T” Turner is a rather supreme effort made with forceful hunger and a rare self-awareness.

Starting us off through the Rearview and detailing those tempting Vices, Chicago rapper Baby T gets into the zone on Icon and Heroes which are the standout tracks. Reminding one of LL Cool J and dropping bars detailing his tough upbringing, we are treated to a barrage of skilled bars which is backed up by a potent production.

Baby T is one of the more underrated acts out there but surely not for long. He’s building his profile impressively with feature performances alongside big names, with his unmistakable grit and desire to be one of the greats.

There is no other option. Baby T wants to win and you feel rather inspired after this mega 17-track, 52 minutes worth of music to sink our teeth into on the must-listen Prodigal Son.
