Breaking Out: Isiah & The New People refuse to stuffed in little Boxes on memorable debut 4-track EP

Dropping their hotly tailored first EP to much anticipation in the underground, Isiah & The New People get the tape and wrap us through their Boxes with an illuminating brilliance that should please lovers of real music.

Hailing from small-town Little Chute in America’s Dairyland – Wisconsin – Isiah & The New People are the kind of music collective who make you close your eyes and recall better times.

With 1000 Tears, Cherry Tree, The Girl Downstairs, and this writer’s favourite track – Where’s Lake Waldo? – we are treated to absolute mastery from all corners.

This is a music masterpiece that is pleasing on the palate like the memory of eating the tastiest meal you have ever consumed.

Vocally sharp like Dave Matthews and featuring the kind of music stimulation to get those sleepy feet tapping, this is certainly something rare and special. In a world packed with so-called songs that have been made in mere minutes, this is a welcome ode to the old school.
