CHAYLA HOPE new debut album DAMN, FEELINGS is out now!

Chayla Hope is emerging as a formidable force in the realm of pop music. Her roots in Cleveland’s vibrant music scene, initially working on vinyl production at Gotta Groove Records and sharing stages with esteemed acts such as The Marías, alongside collaborations with the rising producer Jesty Beatz (also known as Holy Mattress Money), showcase her polished interpretation of ’80s and ’90s sounds, drawing inspiration from the likes of Kate Bush, Lady Gaga, Annie Lennox, and Robyn. Her music amalgamates innovative arrangements with an expansive vocal range and an irresistible energy.

Despite her previous roles as a frontwoman and vocalist for alternative rock bands, notably the Emmy and multiple ADDY award-winning local favorites, Seafair, Chayla found her true musical calling within the pop genre. She explains, “Pop is the soundtrack of my upbringing, the tunes that resonated while my mom tidied up the house. It has been a constant, uplifting presence in my life. It defines who I am.”

Chayla’s journey has been marked by overcoming personal struggles such as heartbreak and trauma by immersing herself in performance and channeling her resilience through her artistic and creative vision. Her fascination with the contrast of upbeat melodies masking poignant lyrics allows her to delve into the complexities of human emotions, encapsulating the essence of human experience through the lens of feelings. Singles like “Love in Lo-Fi,” “Falling,” “Forget Me Not,” and “High”—all meticulously mixed by the 10-time GRAMMY award-winning Josh Gudwin (known for his work with Bad Bunny, Justin Bieber, Dua Lipa)—offer a glimpse into her debut album, ‘Damn, Feelings,’ out now.
