Miami-based producer of the moment Icekream has remixed the new single from Yinka Diz. Yinka’s “Mr. Perfect”. This latest offering from Icekream is built on ghostly vocal samples, gritty 808 hits and an anthemic chorus.
Transforming the original track into a bass-heavy workout, the globally active producer, musician and label head is quickly becoming one to watch for 2021.
Raised in Paris, Icekream took inspiration from his local music scene growing up. While searching further afield for influences that have shaped his unique sound into what it is today, artists as diverse as Fatboy Slim, DJ Premier and Jamiroquai propelled him to invent a distinct musical personality and forge a sound that’s all his own.
Moving forward into 2021 with a multi-genre vision that incorporates hip-hop, house music and reggaeton, icekream’s own label Kream Kingdom is primarily an outlet for the productions of icekream, which span from rap to EDM. His regular collaborators include Mo Sella, OG Maco and Majeed.
Prayah, BIA and Noah Scharf are just some of the exciting new talents that the Kream Kingdom brand is associated with.
Officially launched in 2020, Kream Kingdom’s debut release was icekream and Mo Sella’s a contemporary hip-hop heater “What It Be”. Golden-era rap production styles and the razor-sharp flows of Eminem and Dr. Dre are some of the track’s influences. With two years’ worth of music ready for release, Icekream has big plans to dominate in 2021. Watch this space!
Icekream’s next single, “Termination”, featuring Prayah, Hue Hef and Yinka Diz, is scheduled for release on 14th May.
