It’s finally Friday! This, of course, means that Music Crowns are here once again to bring you a rundown of the hottest tracks that have dropped over the past seven days, and this week we’ve got a gloriously eclectic mix. From the anthemic pop-rock of Glasgow based LUCIA, to the smooth R&B of producer and songwriter Lil Silva. Grab some good headphones and get your new music fill.

LUCIA – ‘Summertime’

Drenched in shiny bubblegum pop, but with their feet firmly rooted in gnarly garage rock, LUCIA have quite the buzz surrounding them. Their latest offering ‘Summertime’ is perfect mellow dream rock; ideal for those final summer days.

Cola Boyy – ‘Buggy Tip’

California based, Cola Boyy makes glorious funk infused disco with a modern electronic twist. ‘Buggy Tip’ is reflective of Cola Boyy‘s talent for taking the best of seventies funk-pop ala William Onyeabor and mixing it with smooth R&B breakdowns.

Swearin’  ‘Untitled (LA)’

Swearin’ know how to write a catchy college-rock tune. Their latest track, ‘Untitled (LA)’ is pure class – weaving together pensive lyrics with angular punk guitar lines that sparkle with sunshine.

Lil Silva – ‘Making Sense’

Taking a break from producing for the likes of UK rapper Octavian and Adele,  TJ Carter is back to releasing excellent music through his moniker Lil Silva. His new track ‘Making Sense’ is gorgeous, effortless R&B bathed in a warm electronic haze.

Bad Wave – ‘Coney Island Waltz’

Bad Wave are the west-coast answer to modern electronic-pop-rock. The duo’s latest offering, ‘Coney Island Waltz’  moulds together anthemic pop-rock with dreamy synths to make a heavy yet glorious punch in the stomach.
