Ariana Grande has shared her recent brain scan with fans, highlighting the stark realities of living with post-traumatic stress disorder.
The ‘7 Rings’ singer was diagnosed with PTSD following her 2017 concert at the Manchester Arena, which was tragically targeted in a terror attack, taking the lives of 22 people and injuring over a hundred more.
The record-breaking pop titan has now given fans a glimpse into the harsh realities of living with the condition, sharing a series of brain scan images on her Instagram stories to illustrate the “terrifying” effects of PTSD.

Posting a comparative set of images, one of a ‘healthy’ brain and one which suffered from the condition, Ariana captioned the post “Hilarious and terrifying”.
Following that post, Grande shared an image of a recent scan of her own brain, which clearly resembled the PTSD afflicted image before – she captioned that image, “Not a joke.”
Earlier this year, Grande advised fans to purchase clear bags ahead of her Sweetener world tour, in order to help gig-goers pass strict security checks which will be in place at each concert venue.
