Carly Rae Jepsen revealed that she once watched Seal eat an entire loaf of gluten-free bread – no butter, no filling, no nothing.
Of course, the ‘Call Me Maybe’ singer secretly filmed the whole ordeal, as she regaled to Zane Lowe on his Beats 1 radio show yesterday, 28th February.
The Canadian pop-star was appearing on the show to promote her latest singles, ‘Now That I Found You’ and ‘No Drug Like Me’.

In a strange twist of events, the conversation switched to ‘The Kiss From a Rose’ singer’s… unconventional eating habits.
Jepsen recalled a journey she made to “some gala event” which lead to her sharing a jet with Seal and Michael Bolton, during which she witnessed the British singer-songwriter to devour a full loaf of gluten-free bread.
“Fun fact, Seal ate an entire loaf of bread one slice at a time. I’m sorry. I shouldn’t say that,” she revealed to Lowe, “It was gluten-free though. So that’s good.”
Jepsen then admitted that she proceeded to take her phone out, pretending to text while covertly filming him having his way with the loaf.
The singer, who says she still has the footage on her mobile phone, then launched into a rather detailed description of the events: “His mouth was rather full”.
“He opened the bread, he removed a piece, he closed the bread, he ate the whole piece, nothing on it,” Jepsen continued. “Then he did it all over again.”
An investigation from Spin lead to speculation that the “gala event” in question was the 2016 David Foster Foundation’s Miracle Gala in Winnipeg.
