The opening scene shows the band sitting around a table, drinking and laughing, and they are all dressed like John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd from the 1980 classic “The Blues Brothers”. The following is a sequence of clips showing the band jamming out on a small stage with a bright purple light shining down on them as they sing of the cool teenager they aspire to be. In the moments when the words “Kid Kool” ring out like a bell in the background, we see a row of the three each popping their head up in a sequence as they sing “Kool.” For the breakdown section, the room suddenly turns blue as the lights change and dim. The vibe turns to chaos as the lights come back and flicker through different colors as the music ramps up. Everything comes to an abrupt stop as the rapper Zero Basement gives the camera a sly smile and the screen turns to black.
