Hanna Haïs Drops ‘Ubi’: A Pulsating Afro House Anthem for the Clubs on Donkela Music

With performances in key locations such as South Africa, Angola, Nigeria, Senegal,  Morocco and other African countries, Hanna Haïs continues to build on her music connection.

Released under Donkela Music, Ubi is designed as a club-oriented production, reinforcing her presence in the international dance music circuit. With support from Jamiie, Klement Bonelli, Vinny Da Vinci and others, Ubi is available on all platforms here.

Ubi is a track driven by energetic rhythms and distinctive melodic elements. Built around a main melody, the composition features a punchy beat, a dynamic bassline, and the inclusion of a siren effect that enhances its club appeal. The track reflects Haïs’ signature sound, blending African influences with house music foundations.

Hanna Haïs, a well-established figure in House and AfroTech music, presents her latest track, Ubi. With a career spanning 25 years and a strong connection to the African music scene, Haïs continues to shape the global electronic music landscape. The release follows a series of productions that have been well received within the Afro House and AfroTech scenes.

The creative process behind Ubi was focused on crafting an effective dancefloor track. Haïs began by experimenting with keyboard melodies, eventually settling on a hook that set the foundation for the entire composition. The beats and bassline were then layered to create a solid rhythmic structure, with the siren added as a defining element to enhance the track’s intensity.

Influenced by club sounds, Haïs aimed to create a track that would resonate with dance music audiences. The production was completed swiftly, with a focus on maintaining a strong, club-ready groove. The use of Ableton Live, Arturia plugins, and Yamaha monitors played a crucial role in achieving the desired sonic depth and clarity.
Haïs’ commitment to her label, Donkela, remains central to her artistic vision. By releasing Ubi through her own platform, she continues to exercise creative control over her music while contributing to the growth of Afro House and AfroTech as global genres.
