Hello Hotboxx! how are you?
I’m doing well, thanks for asking.
Do you have any hobbies or would you like to try a new one?
I have a few other hobbies; I like to keep myself busy. Besides anything music related, I like most things involving sports. I play golf and also like to fish on my free time, and definitely travel and explore new places. With all that it’s tough to try and take on any new hobbies, but definitely really enjoy the ones I have.
Where’s your favorite spot to relax and reconnect with yourself?
On the water. Being from Miami, the beach or being on a boat, is somewhere I can disconnect and relax.
Do you like sports? Favorite team or athlete you follow?
Yes, almost all sports; my favorite sport is American football and my favorite teams are all Miami besides college football, only because I went to college in Tallahassee at Florida State University. Miami Dolphins, Heat, Florida Panthers, and Florida State Seminoles.
Do you have a special routine, tradition or habit you follow or do before a live performance?
Not really, I don’t really like to overthink it just jump into it. I don’t really ever pre-plan my sets either, I just like to go with the flow.
If you could meet someone for coffee, alive or dead, who would it be and why?
That’s a really tough question. Alive probably Elon Musk and dead probably Mahatma Gandhi. I just think Elon would have a lot of tips on success and just innovative ideas on where things are headed and Gandhi would just be a wealth of knowledge with a ton of information and life lessons to offer.
Let’s say you start a new career, non-music related, what would you do?
As random as it may be, I do have a second career in insurance and truly enjoy it. It has been great to me; it offers great flexibility to pursue my other career and life goals. But I guess if I had a choice in a second career aside from music, it would probably be a professional athlete.
What will surely always put you in a good mood no matter what?
Music, nothing can really shape my mood like music. Depending what I listen too, different genres and styles can change my mood or attitude.
Can you describe a perfect weekend?
Hanging out with friends and fam doing shit I love like boating, golfing or producing.
Finally, which 3 items would you take with you to a desert island?
My laptop with Ableton, a keyboard and speakers.
