Garnering national acclaim, Josh already has an impressive list of credits to his name. Judged to be in the Top 10 Songwriters of 2016 in The Song Academy Young Songwriter 2016 competition, Josh Whittaker is a force to be reckoned with. Josh’s original track, ‘Summer’, was debuted on BBC introducing. In addition to this, his impulsive track ‘Switch Up’ was deemed a “future hit” by Tom Odell. His sound is unique, captivating, gripping and has sustained the attention of numerous influential people.
As an Open Mic UK national finalist, Josh proves time and time again that he is a serious artist. Currently studying at the Liverpool institute for performing arts, Josh is steadily perfecting his craft, following the path he has always been destined for. Having completed the Charthouse Music development programme, Josh is now focussing all of his efforts into his finely tuned craft. An adept musician, Josh lives to perform. Be it singing on local radio or performing at events across the country, he is breaking through the banal.
