Kanye West has revealed that he’ll be resurrecting his ‘Sunday Service’ show and bringing it to Coachella 2019.
The weekly performances, which see the rapper perform soulful takes on his own material joined by a wide range of artists including Katy Perry and David Letterman, was debuted by the earlier this year.
In a video of yesterday’s ‘Sunday Service’ posted to the Coachella Twitter account, it was revealed that the rapper would be bringing the performance to the festival: “We were thinking of a performance at Palm Springs,” Kanye said in the clip, hinting at the festival’s location.

“Easter Sunday at Coachella. The confirmation was confirmed last night. Sunday Service at Coachella. Easter Sunday 9AM.”
Kanye’s performance is set to take place on the concluding day of Coachella’s second weekend (21st April).
West was previously pegged to headline the 2019 festival, but reportedly pulled out due to a communication breakdown with Coachella’s organizers.
Earlier this year, details of Yeezy’s contract with EMI revealed that the rapper can never retire.
The documents come in the midst of an ongoing lawsuit between Ye and the major record label.
