Max Vangeli is a name which needs little introduction these days. Ever since being dubbed “one of the most promising artists” by MTV back in 2011, the Moldovan-born, US resident has cemented his place at the very top of dance music’s premier league next to names such as Tiesto and Steve Angello with his stunning production work and world-renowned DJ sets. His NoFace Radio Show evolved into his own NoFace Records label and he has remixed the likes of Pendulum and Ellie Goulding in recent years to critical acclaim. Never one to stand still or bask in past glories, Max constantly pushes forwards, and his latest work is sure to catch the attention of critics and fans alike with his remix of Kaskade’s ‘4AM’.
A giant of the House music scene, Kaskade’s emotive ‘4AM’ was originally released in 2008 and remains one of his best-known tracks in a career which has seen a constant stream of club hits, and it’s clear it’s a favourite of Max Vangeli as he beautifully resurrects ‘4AM’ for the audience of 2016.
Staying true to the dreamy Balearic vibes of the original, Vangeli manages to increase the depth of emotion with moving piano keys while also managing to take you higher with carefully and maturely crafted synths, resulting in a work of art worth waiting 8 years for. It’s not a “4 to the floor” party rocker but it will rightly be filed under the title of “Anthem” as it’s a certainty to be a favourite sung by clubbers across the globe when it’s inevitably dropped by every A-list spinner; and when it is, prepare to feel the love. Instant classic.
Kaskade ‘4AM’ (Max Vangeli Remix) is available now as an exclusive limited download so don’t miss out.
