Displaying mellow saxophone melodies in Arabic scales, ‘Mediterranean Breeze’ evolves through a steady beat and evolving motifs, combining a lush string section with a saxophone layer, played by KYRIsax, that punctuates the track’s progression. The inspiration for ‘Mediterranean Breeze’ came from Pasqual’s personal experiences, as he recalls:
“I wrote it at the end of one of my summer holidays in Cyprus and just before I leave the island for the UK winter. I produced the main idea of this song on my phone with GarageBand while I was sitting in the middle of an olive tree field where my accommodation was. When I return back to London, we recorded the saxophone melodies with KYRIsax in my home studio, actually our home, since we used to be flatmates at the time! That saxophone recording took the entire production to another level! I am releasing this song now at the end of 2024, while daydreaming of my summers in the mediterranean sea, right in the beginning of a cold, cold winter! Close your eyes and enjoy the dreamy and nostalgic vibes of it.”
