With the success of her debut single, “Firecracker,” Taylor Sanders is proving that she isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
The single was written by Taylor Sanders, Terran “T-RAN” Gilbert, Maria Ann Abraham and Scott Anthony Cash Callaway.
In addition to her sassy twang, spunky vibe, and bouncy beat, she combines her unique southern fashion with her dance-driven stage shows. She gained recognition for her covers of well-known artists’ songs, including “Jolene” by Dolly Parton and “Walkin’ After Midnight” by Patsy Cline.

“Firecracker” is such a fierce and firey song. What made you want to release this as your debut single? Do you regret releasing it? It’s a song of empowerment and really just about being me and my sassy self! I would never regret that! I wanted a fun, bouncy song to kick off my brand. I grew up as a gymnast and dancer, so I wanted those elements to represent me.
As you continue into your music career, what are your overall goals as you continue to build a fan base? I’m working on finishing my debut album. I could say I want to do all these big things like sing at the Grand Ole Opry, win a Grammy, and sell out big stadiums which would all be very nice but I’m learning to appreciate the small things right now. I just want to create good music and have fun doing it. I’m looking forward to introducing and performing live with my new music soon and doing a radio tour for “Firecracker.”
Your debut single is currently being impacted by country radio and climbing the Music Row chart. What does it feel like hearing your song being played? It’s really something special. I don’t think it’s something I could get used to. It’s like a pinch me and wake me up moment. I’m thrilled to watch it move up the Music Row Chart. I can’t believe my debut single is beside all those big-name artists on the chart. I must be doing something right!
As this first release has been very impactful, what can fans expect from future music? Fans can expect not to know what’s coming next. Haha! I’ve got a lot of different aspects of my voice and vibe that I want to explore with country, pop, and soul and I don’t want to put myself in a box. So, I think y’all will be surprised with what I come out with next. Maybe a little back to my roots, maybe a little inspirational.
