The hard-hitting sound and style of Cyazon keeps on shining this 2023.
The DJ and music producer that has developed a unique style and sound is ready to introduce new and powerful music and collaborations this year.
While he keeps busy working on new music to be released in the coming months, we invited him to tell us more about what’s in store for him. Here’s what he said.
Hi Cyazon, how are you?
Hi, doing good thank you!
2023 is here and we’d like to know more about your plans and upcoming projects, do you have any new releases coming up?
Currently, I am sending my unreleased music to labels. A lot of vocal features. I have a new song called ‘The Future’ that came out February 24. I’m also working on new music for other collaborations and new music in general too.
Do you have new upcoming collaborations?
So far, I have an unreleased collaboration with Au5. That is all I have upcoming other than the vocal features from my unreleased music.
Which artists would you like to work with this year?
A few artists are Jason Ross, the vocalist Nevve if possible, and Blanke. A few more artists I would like to collaborate with, but seem further ahead in time are Nero, Rezz, and Seven Lions.
Are there any other projects you’re embarking upon this year?
Not too many other projects other than what I have already mentioned. The goal this year is to get out as much music as possible.
Is there a new implementation to your production workflow you’d like to try this year?
Not so much a new implementation, but focusing on writing more songs that have a commercial sound with vocalists instead of bass-heavy tracks.
Are there any new sonic or music genre explorations you’re experimenting with?
I would like to try to focus more on Melodic Dubstep and a commercial sound. Similar to Nero’s ‘Between 2 Worlds’ album, but doing it in my own way.
On a personal note, what new resolutions you made for yourself this year?
Personal new resolutions I have made for this year are, to start making more consistent income on my own, have an improved social life with new and current friends, and getting into a romantic relationship.
What new milestones would you like to achieve with your music?
The main milestones I would to achieve are playing more consistent shows/concerts and getting label releases for my unreleased music on Monstercat, Ophelia, and similar labels.
Finally, what’s the most important thing you’re looking forward to this 2023?
I am mainly looking forward to seeing how much I can progress with my music career this year, having more fun in my life, and focusing more on my well-being.
