Jako Answers a Round of Quickfire Questions in Fun Interview

Jako is surely a name to keep a close eye on, her powerful sound and impressive style that merges different House subgenres having as a result energetic performances and a hard-hitting sound that has caught the eye of VIP names like Tiësto, Calvin Harris, Don Diablo and gave her the opportunity to share the stage with the likes of FISHER, Cash Cash and Matroda, to name a few. As she prepares to release some new bangers in the upcoming months, we asked her some quickfire questions to learn more about her favorites, biggest inspirations and also share some advice; here’s what she said. 

Solo projects or collaborations? 

I have several solo projects I’ve finished this year. They haven’t been released yet. I have one collab with the artist Stephan Voyce that was released on Discover project in September. We worked on another track together earlier this year but it hasn’t been released yet. 

Favorite festival or venue?  

Festival: Splash House, Clubs: Sound in Hollywood and Time in OC. 

Favorite studio equipment?  

Korg Minilogue. 

Saturdays or Sundays? 

Saturday. 

Last thing you learned? 

Too much to say. You put me on the spot! 

Best advice you received this year?  

This year was crazy and a lot of changes happened, but for the better. My father said and I quote “Jako you learned all of this before you turned 30.” 

Favorite song ever?  

No Doubt – “Just a Girl” 

Biggest inspiration?  

Gwen Stefani. 

Best personal quality?  

My sense of humor 

Any advice to give?  

Don’t give up and believe in your life’s purpose. Whatever it may be.
