Sleeps Under Beams is a collaborative effort between Drew Campbell (Subscotia Music – The Netherlands) and Lisa A Swain (SWAiNSONG Lyrics – California).
The song-writing team met online in the Autumn of 2020 and have been collaborating together ever since.
Both partners have a penchant for dark and brooding atmospheres and it was their love for alternative music that connected them from the start.
Last year saw the release of the radiant and haunting ‘Silver Cup,’ which mesmerizes thanks to the unique vocals of Sleeps Under Beams.
There is something intangibly magical about ‘Silver Cup’ as the silky melodies weave their way towards our ears and leave us in a state of melodic bliss.
Drew Campbell is a multi-instrumentalist who physically plays each note heard, he also arranges, produces and makes each video.
Lisa A Swain is the lyricist for Sleeps Under Beams, wearing her heart on her sleeve, each song, a piece of her psyche.
The third member of the team is Anna Rea, who is also from The Netherlands.
Her distinctively haunting voice adds another layer of ethereal magic to the music.
