MC Sessions | Oscar Jerome

South London’s Oscar Jerome recently released his most socially aware track to date, ‘Do You Really’. This new bluesy cut sees Jerome addressing the issues within masculinity in today’s society as well as struggling with the unrealistic ideals of sex and gender stereotypes.

Recently, Music Crowns were joined by Oscar at the Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen where he performed a live rendition of the track. Watch the magic unfold below.

Back in January, the young artist released his acclaimed debut EP, Where Are Your Branches? – an excellent fusion of jazz, hip-hop and electronica. It included guest spots from the likes of Moses Boyd, Poppy Ajudha and James Massiah and saw Oscar carving his own niche into London’s ever-changing musical space.

This month the ‘Smile On A Screen‘ singer will embark on his debut headline tour with dates booked in for London, Paris, Los Angeles, New York and more. Grab tickets for Oscar Jerome’s upcoming tour dates here.
