’55 On The Other Side’ stands out amongst gems on The Erly’s ‘Salem Lights’ album

With the release of their latest album “Salem Lights,” The Erly is poised to cement their mark on the Americana genre. Hailing from Michigan, their sound is deeply rooted in folk and country as much as rock and soul. They have the stories to tell, the guts to share them, and the melodies to deliver with radio-ready smoothness.

Lead single “55 On The Other Side” has become a quick fan favorite, a track that explores “an internal need to follow one’s path that results in an unusual form of driving.” The music video is as fun as the guitar-driven song itself, the band dancing through green screens as their drum fills and catchy refrain prompts the listener to turn it up on the highway.

The Erly are embarking on a live tour spanning three months throughout the fall and taking them across the country. With an album release show in their hometown of Niles, the band plans to leave the midwest and bring their fresh sounds to the likes of Long Island, Nashville, Charlotte, and Chicago (to name a few stops).
