Trust Issues is the newest offering from lleo, whose proving to be a force to be reckoned with on the London pop scene. The full blown pop production has been stripped back this time around for the acoustic version, which is out now on all platforms:
Discussing her acoustic version of Trust Issues, lleo explains:
“Trust Issues is the most honest track i’ve written. It’s about feeling broken and disconnected from the person you love most, and having to deal with those feelings. I wrote it at a time when everything was up in the air and I was trying to come to terms with things – it was pretty rough and i think the message comes across. Although the studio version doesn’t feel too sad because of the instrumentation, i wanted to convey the lyrics in the acoustic version. I’ve learnt with Trust Issues that there’s a real beauty in vulnerability, and this stripped back version is about as vulnerable as it gets. I hope people love it.”
