Amos Ender releases the narrative-driven distortion of ‘Tailspin’

Amos Ender is the brainchild of Joshua Klevorn and is supported by co-member AJ. Together, the duo have refined their sound since its inception and brought that refinement to high-energy live shows.

Their latest track ‘Tailspin’ is immediately intensifying, with punchy, aggressive riffs and tight, assertive vocals. The slightly foreboding nature is created with a sense of storytelling across the track, delivered with a dark, distorted, dystopian ferocity that you would usually give credit to a much heavier outfit.

Iron Maiden comparisons aside, the indie tinge isn’t wasted on Amos Ender. However, they find plenty of time to bring in the twinkling eyes of a band with ambition amongst the drive of drums and melodic guitar focus. It’s a blend of talent and instrumental mastery, put on a full show.

The band shares, “Tailspin is an attempt to interweave two stories, both headed toward a grim ending and at a point where an ill-conceived choice could bring dire consequences. There’s a back and forth between ground & sky, heavy & light, as the melody and BPM changes throughout the track. Neither feels all that stable or offers a lot of hope, but just as the proverbial walls are closing in, a perilous way out suddenly opens up. Will you make it?”
