ANDRO releases blissfully empowering R&B Pop 3-track EP ‘Conflict’

ANDRO is a new project born of creation and breaking away from former ties. Previous member of JUNGLE, ANDRO wanted to break away and truly resonate with himself and a whole new audience in the pop world. The result so far has been staggering, seeing him been awarded PRS’ new POWER UP fund, enabling to record and release his luscious new 3-track EP ‘Conflict’.

Influenced by 80s synth pop with a modernised underbelly, ANDRO creates a ethereal and truly safe pop space that feels balanced yet powerful, finding that truly sweet spot that only the greats posses. Lead single ‘New Home’ featuring the brilliant and spellbinding Benedict Cork, is a vulnerable yet epic delivery that soaks you in their dreamy and mercurial sound world.

Other singles ‘Natural’ and ‘Physical’ stand on their own feet too, with the former being particularly resonating and seems to be the perfect introduction into ANDRO’s new found power-pop homeland. It’s clever, genre defining and memorable from him, and it looks as if there is plenty more to come from this rising artist, with this simply stunning debut EP for listeners to embrace and embody.

ANDRO says “‘New Home’ represents the conflict with my future, finding my space in the world, the industry and also facing homelessness. When people listen to these songs, I hope that they find themselves meshed in the lyrics and the experience of conflict (and hope) that so many of us have had in our relationships to others and ourselves.”
