Following on from a successful debut last year, singer-songwriter Bella Hutton has returned with her new single ‘Reality’. Mellow piano chords provide a minimalistic accompaniment for Bella’s dreamy, soulful voice as she delivers classic pop melodies and emotive lyricism on this gorgeous ballad. Her impassioned performance will pull on listener’s heartstrings and leave them wanting more from this young talent.
Discussing her new single, Bella explained: “I wrote the chorus of this song sitting in my car crying lol. Then I listened back a week later and thought it actually sounded quite good so I decided to work on it with my producer and through my true emotions it all came together. It’s really based on how I felt at the time, being with someone who really didn’t care about me and it hurt so I wrote a song about it. I felt a realisation that the person I was with really was ‘pushing me down’. I felt lost in myself at the time and the song/video really reflects that.”
Twenty-year-old Bella Hutton is based in the UK, and emerged onto the scene in 2020 with her first ever single ‘Shadows’. She made an impact immediately, earning support from Spotify’s New Pop UK playlist and seeing her second single ‘Only You’ featured on Wonderland. New track ‘Reality’ and its accompanying music video are set to take Bella to even greater heights.
