Jon Doe reformed at the beginning of 2023, this led to the search for a new sound for them.
During the many live performances on various stages, a mixture of groovy verses, catchy hooks, and fiery codas quickly crystallized.
Ultimately, they decided to capture that live feeling on record and spent over half a year writing a double album that couldn’t better represent their love for music.
‘BiG HEART, BiG SMiLE’ instantly mesmerizes with a smooth and uplifting guitar arrangement and then Jon Doe adds a feel good vocal performance into the mix.
The track then proceeds to slowly drive up the tempo as the reformed band craft the beautiful and inspiring song that is ‘BiG HEART, BiG SMiLE.’
