The duo BIGGER THAN US has released their latest single, titled “We’re Not Alone.” This track adds to a project that has developed organically, driven by a creative force that the artists themselves describe as something bigger than them.
“We’re Not Alone” marks the third release by BIGGER THAN US a collaboration between Marieme and Stephan Jacobs AKA BOSA that explores themes of human vulnerability and personal evolution. The song, originally composed by Marieme, came to life with BOSA’s contribution, bringing new layers of sound and experimentation to the composition.
The single “We’re Not Alone” is described by the artists as a sonic and emotional journey. The track blends intense soundscapes with an energy that aims for both introspection and empowerment. From a technical perspective, BOSAs production incorporates a blend of digital and analog tools. The song features harmonies synthesized with the vocals, resampling with RMX-1000 and Kaoss Pad KP3, as well as bass sampling with Sub37, creating an atmosphere that evokes influences from Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Daft Punk, and Eskmo. The combination of these elements results in a sound that is both familiar and innovative.
