Billie Bottle’s Temple of Shibboleth are a female led collective based out of Devon, UK. Billie is the pioneer and has seen recent successes on The Voice UK, but has truly found her true songwriting passion in this new found project. Branching between the genres of prog, rock, jazz and psychedelica, the quintet showcase a musical versatility that is to be admired and enjoyed.
Their debut self-titled album is a journey revolving around the traditional housework you would do in a week. Lead single ‘In the Temple’ embodies a spiritual mature about it from the off, with Billie easing you in with her enchanting vocals amongst the minimalistic opening. The track then takes full form in the chorus where the band take full fight and blend nuances of all genres aforementioned, making for a captivating listen.
