Country music sensation Brooke Moriber is set to release her latest single, “So Do I,” on Friday, July 19th. The heartfelt song, co-written by Moriber, Jessica Cayne, and Karen Kosowski, delves into the emotional aftermath of a breakup. It explores the longing and regret of wondering if the other person feels the same loss.
With lyrics that resonate deeply, “So Do I” paints a vivid picture of nostalgia and heartache.
Produced by Karen Kosowski, the track boasts an impressive lineup of talent, including musicians Sol Littlefield on electric guitars, Marc Rogers on electric and synth bass, Justin Schipper on steel guitar, Chad Cromwell on drums, and Nathan Chapman on acoustic guitar, resonator guitar, and banjo. The record was engineered by David Kalmusky at Addiction Sound Studios and Kosowski at The Holodeck South, both in Nashville. Mixing and mastering were handled by Craig Alvin and Greg Calbi, respectively.
Beyond her music, Brooke Moriber is also making waves with her “Nashville in New York” series. This event brings the Nashville songwriter experience to New York City, featuring top talents from the country music scene. The fourth installment of the bi-monthly series will take place on Saturday, July 20th, at The Bitter End on Bleecker Street. The event, sponsored by Music Choice Network, KICKER Performance Audio, Suerte Tequila, and Taylor Guitars, will celebrate the Women of Country. Moriber will host and perform alongside acclaimed songwriters Callista Clark, Emily Shackelton, Averie Bielski, and Claire Wyndham, with special guest M.C. Kelly Ford.
Moriber’s journey into country music has been unique. Starting her career on Broadway, she turned to songwriting as a teenager to cope with a rare eye disease. After regaining her sight, she began traveling to Nashville to share her stories. Her previous releases, including “Cry Like A Girl,” have received significant recognition, showcasing her powerful vocals and songwriting prowess.
Brooke Moriber continues to solidify her place in country music with her latest release and ongoing contributions to the music community. “So Do I” is expected to be another milestone in her flourishing career.
