Cristina Cherry born Ana Cristina Reis Vieira in Faro on July 15, 1997, showed an early talent for music, singing at home by age five.
As a teenager, she adopted the stage name Cristina Cherry and gained recognition at school events.
At 18, while working as a waitress in Loulé, she was discovered by a children’s author who invited her to sing at a book launch, boosting her confidence to pursue music.
In 2018, Cristina moved to the USA, discovering blues music while working in Florida and Massachusetts.
She returned to Portugal in 2019, focusing on creating a blues rock repertoire.
By 2022, after participating in Ídolos Portugal and leaving her job to focus on music, she released her debut single ‘Girl of Your Dream’, which became an international success.
Cristina Cherry now returns with ‘Can You Be Mine?’, which captivates with catchy and stirring melodic beats that flow alongside soulful vocals from the Portuguese artist.
