‘Capelli Argento’ sees Merli Armisa serve up a unique and beautiful melody and a lo-fi vocal intro

Four years after his dazzling debut with ‘Lleb,’ musician and singer-songwriter Merli Armisa is ready to return this spring with a second album, offering a new journey into his enigmatic and evocative sounds.

The first taste of this upcoming adventure is the delightful‘Capelli Argento,’ that serves up a unique and beautiful melody and a lo-fi vocal intro.

The track gradually evolves into a psychedelic explosion of loops and delays, showing a richer and more layered sound palette than in the past.

In fact, for the first time, the project includes piano and acoustic guitar, in addition to drums played by Giacomo Ferrari (Generic Animal, Asino).

The song, like the entire album, takes inspiration from the Asian shoegaze and ambient scene, referring to artists such as Parannoul, Asian Glow and Mid-Air Thief.

If you are looking for music that can transport you to distant and unexplored worlds, this new chapter by Merli Armisa is an experience not to be missed.

Japanese visual imagery also plays a key role, sealed in this single by the presence of a sample from Shingo Natsume’s Sonny Boy anime, which resonates at the end like a remote echo.
