A native of San Antonio, Caroline Hale’s inspirations from across rock and pop gave her sound a clear path. A multi-instrumentalist in her own right, Caroline, at fourteen, became a mentee of Martin Strayer, whose experience working with multi-platinum artists guided her creatively and commercially.
Now lining up for the release of her next EP Live At Stable Hall, whilst securing headline and support slots at the likes of the Texas Ballroom and Austin City Limits Music Festival, Caroline’s emotion-rooted storytelling is the key to her captivating sound.
Teasing her upcoming project, Caroline now releases ‘Something To Believe In’, offering a snippet of the easy-going blues licks and soft, elegant vocal performances that fans expect in spades. Vulnerability at the core of the single, Caroline offers a thousand metaphors for love in her lyrics but settles on devotion’s ability to light up every aspect of one’s life.
The track progressively builds on glimmering instrumentation, the keys emerging from the acoustics, and the drum finds fuller and more powerful rhythms alongside a steady bass guitar. This all erupts into a passionate guitar solo, drenched in a classic feel before the final choruses show Caroline’s most sensitive moments. A gorgeous example of how beautiful folk-pop can be, Caroline stays true to her home town roots of country music, walking down a contemporary new avenue.
Caroline teases the new EP, sharing, “Bringing these songs to the stage has been an incredible journey. My band and I dedicated ourselves to refining each track until they developed a vibrant energy of their own, inviting fans to immerse themselves in our live performances. While the studio album ‘BFF’ holds a special significance for me, recording this live EP in my hometown at the magnificent Stable Hall venue fills me with immense pride and excitement.”
