Chance The Rapper unveiled a brand new track, featuring Daniel Caeser on The Late Show last night.
Chance played the new track during his appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. The track is still yet to be named and the Chicago rapper revealed he wrote it only 48 hours before performing it on the show.
He uses the track to talk about the challenges he’s facing with fame and fatherhood: “I really need a break, could really use a nap/My daughter barely recognize me when I lose the hat/You go so far, you hit a point where you can’t Uber back.”
While on the show, Chance confirmed he’s working on new music and has been in the studio “cooking up some yammers”. He also revealed he has no interest in running for the Mayor of Chicago after an online campaign started when he pledged $2 million for education in Chicago. He said:
“Every contribution brings this city and this nation closer to providing a well-rounded quality education for each and every child. Funding quality education for public [school] students is the most important investment a community can make.”
