Following the release of her debut single in the summer, Charlie Tonight is back with the release of her cathartic new single ‘Lost It’. Continuing her return to rock music-making alongside an electrifying band, the single is just as vivid as it is euphoric.
The single blazes through the soundwaves to make Charlie Tonight’s return to the limelight. Standing its ground as an ecstatic anthem, the raw authenticity, driven by Charlie’s distinctive vocal, gives the single a warm glow. Effortlessly weaving raucous guitars in between sticky pop flavours, ‘Lost It’ demonstrates an artist who is showing no signs of slowing down.
Speaking about the single, she explains, “‘Lost It’ is about two people, coming together from different worlds, who experience an overwhelming attraction to one another. One of them is a woman with a dark past a non-conforming body with the single sparking how diversity can shake convictions like a thunderstorm. That can be scary – are you going to embrace your fear?”
