Canadian talent Chloe Florence released her debut single ‘Nightmare’ earlier this year, displaying a classy and mature sound, and is now looking to continue to showcase her creative ability. Her aim is to “awaken a feeling that lies dormant within everyone, whatever it may be”, and judging by her first works, the Montreal-based singer and songwriter is definitely going to be influencing more and more people with her music as she keeps putting it out into the world.
‘Lullaby’ is another perfect example of her skills; a drawn-out and impressive ballad that takes hints from electronic music as well as indie-pop sounds. The instrumental builds up slowly with the help of smooth synths and vocal harmonies, before the chorus explodes into a cataclysm of future bass-inspired sound design and impactful piano chords.
