Cris Cap unveils his revitalising second EP, ‘Unrequited,’ set for release on June 28th. Following the success of his debut EP, ‘Like a Rose,’ Cap continues to push musical boundaries, blending the intricate nuances of jazz with the soulful elements of pop and R&B. The new EP features a collection of his recent singles, including the joyful and grooving title track. From the first drum fill to the final vocal harmony, ‘Unrequited’ promises a soulful journey, filled with rich instrumentation and the warm tones of Cap’s piano.
“I am thrilled to finally share my musical work from the past year,” Cap shares. “Each track tells a story of love and emotional resilience. It has been a long way. It was just wonderful working with great musicians and friends in Germany and amazing singers from the UK and USA. The EP features six tracks with five distinctive singers, all showcasing my blend of funk, soul, and contemporary R&B, with the title track ‘Unrequited’ making its debut, featuring a collaboration with Brooklyn’s Anna Teers.”
Born in Germany, Cris Cap’s musical journey began at age seven with a profound love for the piano that has only grown over the years. Cap delved into audio engineering in Düsseldorf, further honing his technical and creative skills. Despite his career as a freelance TV director, music has always been Cap’s true passion, leading him to share his unique sound with audiences across Europe. As he releases ‘Unrequited,’ Cap’s authenticity and dedication to his craft continue to shine, promising more exciting projects in the future.
