Westfalia are a band known internationally for taking part in X-Factor Live 2021 and performing on renowned stages, including The Great Escape, Band on the Wall and Zerox.

They have just released their new single ‘D-End’, which is the fifth in a series of songs released in anticipation of their long-awaited album.

‘D-End’ mesmerizes with a powerful synth arrangement and vibrant vocals from Westfalia.

The track has a dreamy feel to it in places, thanks to the way in which the band’s vocal styles blends perfectly with the melodic beats.

Forgers of a versatile sound, this new track sees the band move into sonic territories where everything develops on an obsessive rhythm with an abrasive, visceral impact.

The single was mixed and mastered by esteemed sound designer Matt Bordin in his Outside Inside Studio.

Matt previously worked New Candys and Nero Kane, whose supervision gave the sound an intense three-dimensionality, while keeping in the foreground a distortion at its maximum potential.

The result is a highly explosive mix, a song between industrial and trip hop that firmly looks to the future, tracing a refined style that could be called trip-rock.
