Since debuting in 2020, Dilan Skies has been on a journey to turn heads with his powerful blend of pop music-making. Moving from strength to strength with each release, he has grown his artistry to be laden with melody, groove and authenticity. Returning for 2025, he releases the first teaser single, ‘HABITS’ ahead of his forthcoming debut album.
The single springs forward with a short synth break before an encapsulating drum beat arrives backed by Dilan’s pop-tinged vocal. Bringing a sense of euphoria to the airwaves, the single remains vibrant and upbeat, looking to cement him further as an exciting young artist. Clocking in at just over three minutes, the single packs a punch over its dynamic arrangements – keeping a high octane, summery feeling at heart.
Commenting on the debut album, Skies jumps in, “I wanted to create my debut album as a way to introduce the world to DILAN SKIES. I’ve named the album “TO BE SEEN” because that’s exactly why I wanted to release an album. The project focuses on exactly that & has multiple definitions: Being seen as an independent artist in a competitive industry, being seen as a south asian artist in an industry where we are rarely visible & a lot of the songs also centre around the effects of being seen & not seen in a relationship.”
