Swiss electronic producer of deep-house, chill and lo-fi beats DRJTMS started his career remixing tracks on the Majestic Casual YouTube channel, but soon found himself collaborating with fellow riser Milesikco.
In 2025, DRKTMS has now dropped his debut album, Bupropion, unveiling a sound that brings the occasional sign of indie sparkle to a smooth, sunset electronica. Emotive vocals, soft house drum arrangements, and vibrant instrumentation all come together to deliver an infectious nine-track that feels transformative and atmospheric.
The dreamy nature of choir-like vocal processing soars over the haze, achieving a cohesiveness from start to finish that invokes both joy and reflection. Euphoria, taken slowly and gently, it’s a fresh new sound that leads us perfectly into the summer months.
“With ‘Bupropion’, I’ve started to record my own vocals for the first time,” DRKTMS explains. “I was really inspired by artists like ‘The Blaze’ and ‘Paul Kalkbrenner’ and the way that they changed their vocal tones with digital effects. So I was experimenting with a couple of plugins including a Choir-Plugin and “Little Alterboy”, which gave a new tone to my voice which I really liked. I think as a producer, to like your own voice, you kind of have to jump into cold water and just try everything out.”
