While she has already made a name for herself with a string of bright and uplifting pop offerings over the last few months, including ‘Good Company’ and the Jacobi collaboration ‘TALK2U’, LA-based singer and songwriter Elise Go is now looking to head down a darker path on her latest release ‘Lonelier with You’.
Co-produced by the artist herself, ‘Lonelier with You’ makes for a fresh and enticing return for her. Bringing in more haunting and subtle alt-pop tones throughout, her newest gem sees the start of something new for the artist, captivating us at every turn.
Speaking about the new offering, she said, “Lonelier With You is quite a departure from my previous singles. It’s a dark dance pop track that incorporates lush synths, funky guitars, and Asian pentatonic melodies, that takes you on a personal journey to the middle of heartbreak. Often, we get so caught up in wanting to be with someone, we don’t realize that when we’re with them, they actually make us feel more lonely than we were in the first place.”
