Elthia Shares Mystical Music Video “medusa”

Southern California indie-pop artist Elthia has returned with an engaging storied music video. The video is a short film and it is set to her song “medusa.” Elthia is known for her creative musical fusion and dynamic fantastical image. She exploded onto the scene with her debut single “i love you but you make me cry” in 2020, and since then her music has racked up millions of streams and reached a global audience.

“medusa” is a layered, upbeat, indie pop thrill. The song features stacked whimsical vocal harmonies, psychedelic pop synths and intricate instrumentation. The track is eclectic and compelling with Elthia showing her ability to craft forward-thinking music that touches listeners across the globe.

The music video for “medusa” features the artist as a half woman half snake creature who stalks and lures campers. She confides, “As a monster plays with her meal, I hypnotize and control the campers like puppets, recreating fantasies until they meet their inevitable end. I made all of the costumes myself, including a 15-foot snake tail, an Iris van Herpen-inspired dress, and a full-body suit based on a venomous sea snake. The music video blends reality and fantasy, capturing the chilling aura of a monster story that could exist in the real world, right under your nose, waiting to be discovered.” The result is an all-engrossing visual masterpiece and a perfect accompaniment to the song.

With more music in the works, we are excited to see what Elthia creates next. In the meantime, check out her new music video and be dazzled.
