‘EOM (Eyes On Me)’ instantly captivates with funky synth beats and the energetic pop vocals of Belinda Vodéa

London born Belinda Vodéa is the latest British / Albanian artist to enter the pop scene since Dua Lipa and Rita Ora.

The young singer and songwriter, whose vibrant but edgy vocals have been likened to a British Zara Larsson, has been working on her craft professionally from the age of 16.

From a very early age, Belinda balanced her music and dance classes with her academic studies at three different institutes, already working to make her dream a reality, dream where she puts on a show and entertains.

Starting out in the Dance music scene, Vodéa gradually discovered her true artistic identity as her songwriting evolved throughout the years.

Her biggest influences to date are George Michael, Bryan Adams, Rihanna and Jhené Aiko.

Belinda Vodéa tells us how all her influences “to play a role in the way I make my music now. This type of music was played a lot around the house as a child, so I guess the influence came from my earlier years.”

Her music now is described as being nostalgic 80’s pop infused with sultry R&B, the lightly distorted electric guitar and big reverberant 80’s drums having a significance in her musical journey.

The debut single ‘EOM (Eyes On Me)’ incorporates these influences, bringing Belinda’s vision to reality.

‘EOM (Eyes On Me)’ instantly captivates with funky synth beats and stirring guitar riffs and then Belinda Vodéa unleashes energetic pop vocals that give life to catchy lyrics.

Produced by Ashea (Alan Walker), this was an all female collaboration, from start to finish, which was important to Vodéa in order to capture the essence of what the song is about.

Belinda explains how “There is something so special when women get together to create art and to be able to relate to each other and previous experiences.”
