With music in her blood, starting playing piano at age 5 then eventually moving on to the saxophone, Estelle California exudes artistry. Born in France, formally trained in Opera, and later moving to Oakland California – and adopting the state’s name into her stage name – Estelle delivers a unique individualistic signature to her sound. Drawing on artists from many eras and integrating her unique background, she produces a style truly her own. ‘Star’ is a single that is subtle and complex at the same time.
