‘Falling Under’ sees VANARIN deliver a unique musical arrangement that blends together contemporary beats and a heavy bass line

VANARIN is an Anglo-Italian psych-pop band that was formed in July 2016 by David Paysden, Marco Sciacqua, Massimo Mantovani and Marco Brena.

Their style of music is best described as a combination of psych-pop and rock.

They currently have two EPs and two full-length albums under their belt, have played more than 150 gigs and have participated in big festivals such as Siren Festival and Radio Onda D’urto in Europe and Zandari Festa and LUCFest in Asia, where they opened for international acts such as Battles, Thurston Moore, Yellow Straps and Silica Gel.

‘Falling Under’ sees VANARIN deliver a unique musical arrangement that blends together contemporary beats and a heavy bass line.

The melody flows alongside vibrant lyrics and captivating guitar riffs.

Riding between the most inspired James Blake and the psych digressions of Tame Impala, the track leads us from the first listen into the territories of a mesmerizing and seductive soul-step, where the bubble-synth effect and the multifaceted use of the vocoder on David Paysden’s vocal line make us travel through space, as if the song came from a distant galaxy where Air is having fun playing 70s funk music.
