Frizzy P & Mr Cole drop the anticipated ‘Ladi Dadi III’

Frizzy P & Mr Cole are back, bringing with them a highly anticipated addition to their Ladi Dadi series, now on its third release. The six-track builds on the teaser singles that preceded it, as the Anglo-French pair continue to be unique voices for the alternative underground with a sound that bridges 90s trip-hop nostalgia and forward-thinking, genre-blurring production.

Their musical range is transformative across smoky atmospheres, raw energy, old-school vibes and flashes of alt-pop experimentation. Intimacy and innovation are at its core, with analogue synths, boom-bap drums, samples and versatile vocals forming a timeless structure. Whether it’s haunting vocal melodies or laid-back hip-hop delivery, it brings together that ATQC/The Roots essence with Portishead or Massive Attack influence.

Speaking about the lead single and project standout, ‘OUTRE TOMBRE’, Frizzy adds, “As often in this project, I let myself be carried away by Mr Cole’s airy and almost dream-like instrumentals, entering into a dialogue with the deepest parts of myself. Then, I try to translate into words the immense weight a woman can feel when freeing her body from societal expectations, wounds, and transgenerational memories that still linger. A struggle to become and to heal.”

Since their debut, the duo have attracted critical acclaim and made continuous bold forward steps. With 2025 now firmly in their sights, they evolve from moment to moment, and this moment is certainly theirs.
