Dutch quartet Future Husband has been releasing music since 2021, making their mark at festivals like Best Kept Secret, Noorderslag and further across Europe. The four-piece have a shared love for cinematic atmospheres and have built a reputation for vibrant production and joyful performances.
With their latest single, ‘Terra’, Future Husband write an ode to the globe, embracing natural energy in amongst their indie glitter. The sonic glow is evident from the opening, as the band find their place with warming keys, rich bass and drum combinations and impassioned vocals.
Danceable, soulful and euphoric, the band drag the audience into their celebratory glimmer, steadily driving more energy into their performances and more layers into the vocals. By the time you reach the final chorus, the band radiates sunshine, and parties on.
The band explains, “Terra is a love letter to the planet. The recording process, especially with the drums, took some extra care. We knew the rhythm had to be perfect to carry the energy of the track, but it took a bit of experimentation to get it exactly where we wanted. After some long sessions and fine-tuning, the groove finally clicked, and it brought the whole song together. That extra effort gave the track its pulse, and we’re proud of how it turned out.”
