Geraldine Snell reveals euphoric double single ‘Delightful (I Love You Song) / Limerence’

Multi-faceted creative Geraldine Snell has crafted an eclectic career filled with acclaimed short films, exhibition commissions and international music performances. The Hebden Bridge-based visionary has had support from BBC Introducing and graced the stage at notable venues such as Spice of Life Soho, Katzpace London, and various festivals across the UK.

Her latest release, double single ‘Delightful (I Love You Song) / Limerence’ is the first collaboration with co-producer Richard Knight, as well as the first tease of the forthcoming album overlove. Exploring the hypnotic euphoria of experimental yet familiar electronic atmospheres, Snell presents intricate arrangements of plucky sound effects, tumbling drum rhythms, emotive guitar lines and shining synths. Above this, comes Snell’s ethereal vocal performance which draws you in with sweet and vulnerable delivery, drenching her words in romance and desire.

Geraldine shares a comment on the themes of the tracks, “This project is a sonic exploration of complex emotions around longing, loneliness, and love addiction. It delves into the struggle to stay afloat amidst dopaminergic highs and melodramatic lows, ever in pursuit of an unattainable connection, and the alienation of real relationships in the process.”
