Music aficionados, rejoice! The legendary South African Producer, Composer, and Multi Instrumentalist, Don Laka, is celebrating his 50th Anniversary in Music with an epic tour of the UK.

This revered South African musician is no stranger to music style experimentation, creating both Kwaito (and its offshoot, Afro-Pop) and Kwaai Jazz (and its offshoot Mapianos). He even earned a Grammy nomination for his work with Hugh Maskela. But it isn’t just his own achievements that make Don Laka so influential; he’s also been credited with the founding of the first successful black record company in South Africa as well as being an instructor to many upcoming artists.
All of this earned the maestro the South African Music Awards Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017. On this tour, Don Laka and his mates will be visiting the South African Embassy, The Six Six Bar Cambridge, The Latest Music Bar Brighton, Acapela Studio Cardiff, The Jam Jar Bristol and The Night Owl Birmingham, before ending with an unforgettable show at The 606 Club London.
