Giant Killers share the nostalgic single ‘Who Am I Fooling?’

Introduced after thirty years, nineties rising stars Giant Killers are putting themselves at the forefront once again. Building a cult-like following and inspiring new fans, the band finally have their masters back in their own hands and can relight the fire that saw them play at Glastonbury Festival, Hyde Park and on Channel 4.

Their latest unveiling ‘Who Am I Fooling?’ taken from their debut album Songs For The Small Places, graces ears with the sounds of times gone by. Starting with firm drums, ringing guitars and pop-tinged electronic melodies the band set the scene for alternative, melodic vocals.

Vibrant from start to finish, it’s a shock this music was left by the wayside for so long, bringing a subtle rebellious nature with poignant statements of emotion. From fiery to vulnerable, the band take the listener on a journey and fuel their exciting return.

The band explain their exciting return and the single,  “There’s a special kind of delight and a delicious irony in being ‘introduced’ after 30 years – it’s a potent reminder from the universe that good things may come to those who wait. Which in one sense is the principal message in our ‘debut’ album, Songs for the Small Places! With our third single, Who Am I Fooling, we’re touching on themes of regret for opportunities not taken and the hope of future redemption – which is familiar territory for us. We’re hoping to build on our introduction, maybe a firm handshake or even a hug. As ever, we live in hope!”
