New York based singer-songwriter and producer Habe has returned with his first release of 2020, “I’ll Still Call”.
The dreamy kaleidoscopic soundscape Habe, otherwise known as Max Haberman, has perfected within “I’ll Still Call” has taken his previous lo-fi influenced sound to new heights. Melodic guitars, indie rhythms, and subtle electronic synths frame this equist track, the haunting vocals taking centre stage.
Explaining the meanings behind “I’ll Still Call” Habe stated; “I’ll Still Call” is about dealing with feelings of uncertainty, and learning to love yourself, especially when youʼre growing to love others.”
Having immersed himself into the indie music scene since his debut in 2017 Habe has since gone on to collaborate with both Chris Mazuera and Angus Watson. Developing his sound since his first release “Rollerblade” through to his debut E.P. ‘What Did You Say?’ in late 2019, Habe has cemented himself as one to watch, a fiet he is living up to once again with new release “I’ll Still Call”.
