Somerset-hailing singer-songwriter Harri Pick has received waves of attention since her debut EP released in 2021. Press acclaim and airtime on BBC Radio 6 Music have tagged Harri as one to watch.
For her latest release, the rising star brings a roaring rock ‘n’ roll atmosphere and a keen vocal performance. ‘Call Back Home’ opens with an immediately fierce set of instrumentation, layers of guitars, bass and drums set the tone for an engine-fuelled swing at a fractured romance, filled with brutality and anger, leaving very little time for reflection.
This rise of emotion leads Harri to hit home to her biggest fears, the almost accidental revelation causing her to take a deeper look through the ferocious lens. The infectious vocal cries paired with emotional toil make for an anthemic product, filled with authenticity and empowerment.
Harri explains what inspired the single, “I wrote Call Back Home during a really difficult time in my life. I think it’s all about my reflection on a relationship that has ended and working out how to start life all over again whilst being terrified about what’s to come – but it’s actually all okay and everything works out!”
